Scar Revision
Whether caused by accidents or by surgery- scars are unpredictable. The way a scar develops depends as much on how your body heals as it does on the original injury or on the surgeon's skills. While no scar can be removed completely, Dr. Kaweski can often improve the appearance of a scar, making it less obvious through injection or application of certain steroid medications or through surgical procedures known as scar revisions.

Tattoo Removal
Various methods such as excision, dermabrasion, and laser are used to remove a tattoo. The effectiveness of the removal depends on the depth of the ink and the types and colors of inks used. The method depends on the tattoo size and depth as well. Dr. Kaweski will be able to determine what's right for you at your consultation.

Laser Hair Removal
The Atlus CoolGlide laser used at Aesthetic Arts Institute of Plastic Surgery is a 1064nm laser, which is the longest wavelength available.  It can be used safely on any type skin, including patients with dark tans or Latin, Middle Eastern, or African-American background.  It can disable hundreds of hair follicles in less than one second, with long-lasting results for hair removal in all skin types. The Atlus CoolGlide is one of the only laser hair removal systems that is FDA approved for permanent hair reduction, defined as a long term, stable reduction in the number of hairs re-growing after a treatment regime. With adequate treatment, patients can achieve a 90% or greater reduction in hair in treated areas, but treatment results do vary among patients. It was specifically designed and tested to eliminate undesired hair from all parts of the body. It can remove hair from all parts of the body, including the face, legs, arms, underarms, and back, as well as sensitive areas like the chest, nipples and bikini line.

Laser Vein Removal
Say good-bye to unsightly veins once and for all with our spider vein treatment. The legs, arms, and particularly around the nose are common areas for prominent veins. The laser vein treatment works by targeting a specific pigment found in all blood vessels, hemoglobin. The laser administers a pulse of energy that is specifically absorbed by hemoglobin. Therefore, large amounts of laser energy can be directed specifically towards the veins and “collapse” the vessels immediately to eliminate the vessels.
