Micro-Fat Grafting

Indications:

Loss of fatty tissue on the face or any area of the body secondary to trauma, surgery or aging.

Procedure Description:

Fat cells are gently harvested from areas of the body that are not involved in the process of loss.
The cells are then prepared for injection to the areas of concern. Small incisions will be made at both sites.
Usually a compressive tape is placed over the facial areas which are grafted. Compression garments are used where the cells are harvested.
Initial discomfort subsides daily and can be controlled with oral medication. Bruising and swelling usually last 7-14 days in the face.

Recuperation and healing:

Tape is applied to the face and will be removed 4 days after procedure.
All sutures will be removed in 4-5 days.
Generally bruising & swelling will subside within 2-3 weeks.
The final result is evident in 3-6 months with continued improvement over the course of a year.

To improved the most visible signs of aging by restoring youthful contours and skin texture, elasticity, and color. To improve depressions as a result of fatty loss due to trauma or surgery.
